National Bioeconomy Day 2025: Basilicata takes center stage with an event sponsored by the Lucanian Cluster.

Thursday May 22, 2025 si celebra la settima edizione della Giornata Nazionale della Bioeconomy, a well-established event promoted and coordinated by the Cluster SPRING in collaboration with Assobiotec-FederchimicaThe day sees the realization of numerous events online e in presenza throughout the country, with the aim of describing and promoting the opportunities of the bioeconomy circular, an economic model based on the sustainable use of renewable biological resources.
Among the initiatives planned, the event organized by the stands out Lucanian Cluster of Bioeconomy at the SPARKme Space Academy of Matera, the Museum of Space Science, which will see the participation of students on educational visits to the Museum as well as institutions and professionals for a discussion on the key themes of bioeconomy.
The meeting, in line with the mission of the SPRING Cluster, represents an important opportunity to communication and dissemination of the values and challenges of the bioeconomy, both at national and local levels. The aim is to promote greater awareness of the economic, environmental and social benefits of the transition to aeconomy bio-based can generate, through an open dialogue between research, companies, institutions and new generations.
